Welcome to the first ever edition of the Green Sustainable Technology Carnival! The response was excellent, a big thank you to everyone who submitted. Awareness is one of the first steps toward change, and there are a lot of green, sustainable, and energy-efficient technologies available to us.
Given the success of this edition, I am planning to continue this Blog Carnival on a biweekly basis – so if you want to be featured on this blog, please submit it to our carnival submission form. The deadline for the next carnival is on September 30, 2009.
Thank you again to everyone who submitted their posts for this edition.

I recently found this nifty thing called the blog carnival. It’s basically a collection of posts from blogs all over the internet that are submitted, curated, and compiled into a directory post. The Smart Home Automation Guide was recently featured in the All Things Eco Blog Carnival.
The concept of a blog carnival is pretty interesting – the host gets great content on their site, and the submissions get links back to their posts. So I decided I wanted in, and set up my own carnival: the Green Sustainable Technology Carnival.
Do you have a blog where you’re writing about the technology of the sustainable future? Submit to the first blog carnival here – topics include but are not limited to smart living, smart homes, green living, the environment, and anything else that comes to mind. If you have interesting posts about how ecosystems work or, even, or better yet, how to preserve them, send them in – I’m a big dork and I love science.
